Polk, Andrew Johnson, James Buchanan, Martin Van Buren, and John Tyler, by H.B. Hall’s Sons, and others, NY, Fine-Very Fine.. The Five Prints range in size from 9.75” x 6” to 12” x 9.5”. Included are Presidents James K. Polk, Andrew Johnson, James Buchanan, Martin Van Buren, and John Tyler. The Polk print was engraved by H.B. Hall, NY, from a painting after Healey. Both the Johnson and Tyler prints were engraved by H.B. Hall’s sons. The Buchanan image was printed by Johnson, Fry & Co. Finally, the Van Buren print was engraved by E. Wellmore from a painting by H. Imman. Some of the prints have minor edge chipping or general age toning. Lot sold “as is.” (5 prints).
