An Interesting antique Colonial French and Indian - American Revolutionary War English, French or Dutch Small Sword, circa. early 18th century. 22.25" double edge blade that may be much older and re-used w/(3) unidentified armorer's marks on both sides of blade . Brass hilt/guard; carved spiral/twisted wood w/flat wire grip. 29" overall. Scabbard is brass mounted covered in shagreen (Sting Ray Skin).

Note; It our opinion that the scabbard is period but from a different sword (most likely Oriental) that has been married to this sword.
